Pool Reminders

We hope that everyone is enjoying the pool this year.  From the level of activity and all the smiles we see, it appears that we are witnessing another very successful summer at HGC.  Please continue to enjoy the HGC pool throughout the next sunny weeks of summer.

We also appreciate everyone following the simple guidelines the club has established for pool use.  Our full set of Pool Guidelines is in your Swimming Guide..  Here are some reminders on the most important pool rules:

Children Inside the Pool Gates

Children under twelve (12) years of age may not enter inside the pool gates unless accompanied by an adult or a sitter who is at least fifteen (15) years of age.   As long as a child under twelve (12) years of age remains in the pool area, the adult or sitter must also be present and actively supervising the child.  Our Pool Director has been instructed to enforce this policy rigorously as we want to keep everyone safe this summer.

Guest Policy

Members who bring guests must register their guests and remain with their guests at the pool.  A registration book is available at both the front gate and also at the Kiddie Pool.  The same guest may only use the swimming facilities three (3) times per month.  Failure to register may result in a suspension of pool privileges for the entire family.

Children Using the Main Pool and Diving Pool

Children under nine (9) years of age may use the pool if personally supervised by an adult or a sitter who is at least fifteen (15) years of age. 

Children Using the Kiddie Pool

Members are reminded that the Club does not staff life guards for the kiddie pool.  Adults and sitters are responsible for their children.  Children must never be left unattended in the kiddie pool area.  Children must be personally supervised in the Kiddie Pool gated area at all times.
