Description: |
Donald Ross - 1946 plan.
Built 1960-1962.
This short par four has a boundary and fairway bunkers on the left and trees on the right. Tall “Sentinnal” trees just short of the green create a very narrow opening into a small two-tier green. Distance off the tee is not critical and many players will lay up to have a more full shot up over the trees. The green is well guarded as it should be on such a short hole. |
|
How to Play It: |
Play your tee shot down the right center to leave yourself 90 to 125 yards. This allows room to go up over the trees with a short iron. A long drive slightly off line will leave a real challenge under or around the trees guarding the entrance to the green. |
