Scorecard
Description:
Donald Ross - 1946 plan. Built 1960-1962. A long demanding par three guarded on the left by a magnificent and gnarly white oak. The tree is 40 yards short of the green and forces the player to hit it high or to aim for the right side of the green. The slightly elevated green is bunkered left and right with another bunker guarding the left front.
How to Play It:
Your tee shot will need length and elevation. A hybrid or lofted fairway wood will work best. Shots that carry the edge of the tree should have enough to carry the bunker guarding the left front of the green, but take plenty of club. Lower or shorter shots must be played through the slot to the right center of the green and this is the route to take for the easiest chips or pitches. The green is quite level and true.
