Description: |
Donald Ross - 1946 plan.
Built 1960-1962.
Some think this is a sister hole to #22, but it has its own personality. You will face another uphill tee shot to a saddle and a slight downhill second across the brook. The green is deep and tilts somewhat steeply from back to front and has a small back tier. |
|
How to Play It: |
Carry your tee shot as high and far as possible and favor the right side of the fairway. A tee shot down the left side will be blocked by the trees protecting the slight dogleg. A short tee shot might require a lay up shot short of the brook 60 yards short of the green. There is a wide entry into the green and the downhill shot plays shorter. Keep the ball below the hole for the best chance at holing a putt. |
