Scorecard
Description:
Donald Ross - 1917. The sixth green lies against a hillside going up to the 14th tee, providing a handsome setting for this par three. The green is well bunkered and is quite steep from back to front. It plays slightly uphill and the prevailing wind is left to right.
How to Play It:
Club selection is critical as the hole plays a little long, but the pitch of the green requires that the ball be left below the hole. If the cup is on the front, it is better to leave your tee shot on the front fringe rather than risk a downhill putt. Even putts from pin high can be very exciting. Take plenty of club to get to the front third of the green.
