Scorecard
Description:
Donald Ross - 1946 plan. Built in 1955. An extremely challenging starting hole, requiring a long accurate tee shot to a canted fairway, followed by a middle iron to as much as a fairway wood into a large green. This is a very tough par four for men, but is a pleasant par five for women.
How to Play It:
Drive as far right as possible while still avoiding the rough and trees guarding the right side. A drive left will bound left into the trees or the fairway bunker. Choose your club carefully for the second shot as this green is quite deep from front to back. Five is not a bad score on this difficult starting hole against the prevailing wind.
